   Recently I upgraded to wordpress 3.1 & my post excerpt box & the custom fields box (in the post editor page) has been dissapeared. I need to add experts & custom fields to my posts, so please help.

   click screen options, and enable them

   For real, they should show by default, and hide if chosen. But I guess less people will break things ;-)
