Excel in WordPress

I would like to paste the contents of a relatively simple Excel document into a page on my WordPress blog. The spreadsheet does not have very many columns so the information is not too wide for the screen, but formatting is key (bold, highlighted cells, etc.). Interestingly enough I was able to do this in an older version (2.6 maybe), but not 2.8.5. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
