   Has anyone implemented this that I can see how they are being used, because I am just not getting it.

   So, you are using default Kubrick, so somehow "Pages" pull the CSS for the background without the grey edge, as shown on the homepage in Kubrick?

   Actually, in the Default Template (Kubrick), page.php is the Page Template. When you create a page, it is uses the Page Template. Just think of a page a static post or resource which does not appear in your syndicated site's overall continuity. More info:

   Thank you. I think I am going to go back, start from scratch using the Kubrick template from 1.5 and build new things from there.
