   Example 1 from http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-syntax/other_notes/ with the PHP code block doesn't work.

   Here's what I get:

   WordPress just nukes the code.

   I give up.
   Using <pre> tags in WordPress is dangerous. WordPress messes it all up.

   The plugin should use shortcodes instead.

   I'm switching to http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/syntaxhighlighter/
