The content on my page is all jumbled and nothing is showing up in my sidebar on my blog http://www.virgilrcook.com, it looks fine everywhere except on my main page. When I go to my blog to view my post the title and the text have all shifted positions and it looks all jumbled.
Would someone mind taking a look and let me know if there is anything I can do to fix it. I have a backed up copy of my blog from a week ago but I have no idea how to restore it. I am juat looking for, hopefully a simple solution.

A whole bunch of code errors and unclosed tags, and a warning that one or more template files use a Byte-Order Mark when they shouldn't. What are you using to edit theme files?

Thank you for your response songdogtech. Your response is totally Greek to me. As far as I know I do not use any theme editor. It is technically beyond my experience to mess with most code.
Boy, I looked at what was at the end of the link you gave me and there is a lot of errors. I just cannot fathom how that happened.
How do I go about fixing this? I hope there is an easy solution to this...
your theme hasn't been updated since march - so switch to twenty ten theme and see if it looks right then
you may want to deactivate all plugins and test
if looks ok with them deactivated, re-activate one by one - testing in between
Thank you Samuel. I changed my theme to a different one that I like. Had to do some text formatting to get my posts to show up correctly and did the plugin thing. It took some time, but was definitly a fix I could handle. Thank you so much for your help, it seems to have solved my issue.
