• Hello,

To make this short, I have 2 sites, 2 different themes (one from wordpress one from Templatic). They both miss every single post schedule, and yes, I know I can use WP-Miss schedule and I am using it, but it doesn’t always work correctly (sometimes the posts are posted, but don’t show up on the homepage and in the feed and in google…weird…)

I don’t have any plugins which might cause this.

This happened before the last WP upgrade as well. I’m using Hostgator.

    Help…?

  • Before I get started, I’d like to clarify something to you… Google isn’t instantaneous – it will take days, sometimes weeks for your new posts to show up there, so don’t fret over that.

The homepage however, is quite strange. Can you confirm that under the General Settings you have your timezone selected and have updated this settings page?

    Hi Eric,

In my line of work, a news story gets old after 10-20 hours and Google seems to know that because I never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes for a story to get indexed. Anyway, this is not a discussion on SEO and google by any means, so let’s focus on what my actual problem is.

I used to have UTC+0 instead of UTC+3, but I don’t know how that would have affected my scheduling. Anyway, I have modified that and put in my timezone. Any other ideas?

    Cheers
