Not sure if this is already a support post - happens with the latest version, using WooThemes Canvas theme, is fixed when I downgrade plugin to older version (prior 3.0).

Please let me know if this is on the list of bugs to fix, then I'll move forward with using the older version on my clients' websites. I really want to use your plugin, but both sites I want to use it on use Woothemes Canvas.

The upgrade looks great - really can't wait until this issue is fixed so I can take advantage of your new great features.

    Thanks.

I'm having this issue as well. I'm using this plugin with the Canvas theme, and I got the same error when I updated it. I had to downgrade to a previous version, so it could work again. Please let me know if this can be fixed.

Same problem on new install. Using WooThemes Canvas. Events URL slug pulls in blog posts, no calendar. Single events are fine.

    Same problem on my side,

    All latest version of:
    Wordpress
    Woo Framework
    WooThemes Currents
    Events Calendar
    WooCommerce
    WooTickets

Same problem on my site. Just now it started, didn't start right when I installed it yesterday. I just installed my whole site yesterday, actually.

Latest version of WordPress and Events Calendar, and Woothemes Canvas.

It seems like it might have happened when I clicked on "Include events in the main blog loop." Next time I checked it, all my events slugs just go to the blog.

    Same with single events.

    Please help!

    Thank you!

In the documentation, one suggestion is to re-save your permalinks.
This did not work for me though.

I also posted on the tri.be forum:
    https://tri.be/support/forums/topic/events-url-slug-redirects-to-blog-page/#post-56362
    and
    https://tri.be/support/forums/topic/events-page-direct-to-blog-posts/

I have since reinstall it all on another domain but still with no luck...

Edit: mine seems to be working if I turn my theme off. I'm using WooThemes Canvas. This would have been a huge issue if I had spent more than an hour configuring my theme so far. I can create my site on twenty-twelve if need be (at least for the moment). Plugin seems to still work atm aside from this issue with the little bit that I've tested it so far.

(I had tried re-saving my permalinks with Canvas activated but that didn't work.)

I'm having the same issue but I'm not using a Woo Theme. I'm using Elegant Theme Source Theme. Event URL keeps redirecting to the homepage.

    Hi,

Modern Tribe addressed many of these issues through upgrades and snippets.
    the latest versions:

    WooTickets: 3.0.1
    Events Calendar: 3.0.2
    Events Calendar Pro: 3.0.4

This snippet was for before they fixed it in an update, so should not be needed in the lates version.
    https://tri.be/support/forums/topic/events-page-direct-to-blog-posts/

This relates to a fix for WooTickets not displaying:
    https://tri.be/support/forums/topic/tickets-not-displaying-on-event-page-since-new-version-released/

    Good luck

I just updated to the new Events Calendar 3.0.2 and the problems are gone. I'm using Canvas theme and I can go to the /events page with no blog posts and no problems.

    Thanks to the plugin creators!!

    :)

Mine was forwarding to the home page. I removed the plugin, and now all is good.

Hey all: thanks for your reports on this, and my apologies that nobody has jumped onto the forum to get you a reply yet. (Jonah, who was running things here on dot-org, had his last day on Friday and we're getting caught up on what he didn't have a chance to hit since then).

That said, as Clare suggests, this was a known issue - specific with the Canvas theme - which we patched and deployed in the 3.0.2 release. (As with any bug that is reported, if it's legit and we can recreate it, we'll always patch it and usually in the next maintenance build). If you upgrade to the newest release you should be all set here.

That said, if anyone is finding they still encounter this issue even on Events 3.0.2, please let me know and we'll do our best to continue troubleshooting. Thanks for your patience and support so far.

Sorry to raise this up again but still same issue here.

I am running Canvas 5.3.0 the latest release from Woo and also the Events Calendar 3.0.3 and when one clicks on the calendar date I just get blog posts and the single event page which of course one should. Just click any date here: http://www.gatewaysingapore.com/events/ Any ideas much appreciated? Cheers

I am still having problems with this and I have downgraded to 3.0.2
    What is the next option?

I would like to chime in to say that when I try to view this calendar using "Where's my calendar" on the General Settings page I only see my WP home page with the url: http://undisclosed.com/event-calender/ (site is in server lock down mode until live.)

Display settings include "Full Styles" and "Default Events Template".

    Build:
    WordPress v.3.6
    Thesis v.2.1
    The Events Calendar v.3.0.3

Is there anything I or Modern Tribe can do to resolve this issue?

Hi everyone. Regarding compatibility with Canvas it may help to disable the include events in main blog loop setting (from the Events > Settings > General admin screen).

There are now quite a few voices in this thread not all describing quite the same problem, which makes it difficult for us to help. What I'd suggest is creating new threads of your own and we'll do our best to point you in the right direction: before you do so, know that - based on your feedback - we will definitely take the time to investigate the latest Canvas release and see if there are futher points that need to be addressed.
