   When adding the events to the system a modal box comes up saying the event was successfully added but the event doesn't actually get put into the system on the backend or the frontend.

   The problem could be a myriad of things.
   Check your javascript console panel and look for errors - and post your findings.

   FYI
   It could be a dateformat issue - the next version of this plugin expected for release later this week addresses those issues - so you may want to wait and try the next version before spending too much time troubleshooting now.
