   I created an event with start and stop dates and an event type, but it's not showing in the Events widget.

   I also noticed in the list of all events that the event does not show the event type. It says, "No event types."

   Event types are a taxonomy (category) of Events. In order for them to appear in the widget you have to have these created. Also, it will only show up if there are events that belong within any one of the categories.

   Thanks for telling me about this, this is another bug that I should check into.

   Fred, I've updated to 1.1.2, but my test event is still not showing in the widget at http://www.learninglane.net/

   Here are some details from the Edit Events page for this event:

   Let's Get Started!
   The first Reading & Response is Preface.

   Event Types
   Most Used

   X Announcement

   Start Date: 11/12/2012
   End Date: 01/31/2013
   X All Day?

   Ah okay, I see the issue. Okay so, the events widget will display events if the start date hasn't happened yet. Since today is the 17th the event has already started and therefore will not display.

   Should you create another event that starts in december, the event will not display. The events are all based off of events coming up, but have not started yet.

   I'll add an additional option to the widget to allow the user to select which functionality they want later today then.
