I’m using Headway Themebuilder to build my site. When Events plugin creates a page, it wipes out the custom page settings, and displays the front page (ie blog index). So not only does it not work, but I must then go back and redo all my single page settings.

I should note that Events Manager is not the only calendar/event plugin that has this issue with Headway. I think something happens when it creates the page, but I’m not a programmer.

I contacted the forum at Headway, and they said to have the plugin developer contact Headway. Hoping someone can help. I’m happy to buy the Pro version of Events, but would like to know everything will play nice with Headway. Thanks.

  • Hiya,

Given that this issue occurs with multiple plugins and not just EM, and also because it sounds like you only get this behaviour when using Headway, it sounds most likely that the way Headway have implemented their custom page settings isn’t able to persist properly.

That points to something within the Headway theme itself and so something they’ll have to change, but if you can get them to pop over to this thread we can certainly help you troubleshoot.

    Cheers,

I’ve worked with Headway before to iron out issues, so happy to do that if it’s us causing the problem.

However, can you explain further what you mean by custom page settings, is that EM settings or HeadWay settings?

Although I currently have a problem with EM and Headway (Page not found), I have been using them together for some time and never seen this issue.

    Regards
    Pete
