Events Manager in Multisites

I have events manager installed on a multisite and find that I can’t get the events to display on the home blog but they work fine on sub-blogs. When clicking on an event on the home blog I get an event not found error, whereas on sub blogs that doesn’t happen. I have reset permalinks, reinstalled plugin, tried different themes, no change on the home page, but no issue on sub blogs. Anybody experienced anything similar?
