i don’t think we use loopback connections. what are you trying to search specifically
Hi Marcus,
Essentially we’re trying to search/filter for events by tag using a form and a get request, this is the url http://www.aoc-create.co.uk/events/upcoming-events/?tag=curriculum&Search=search we use live, on local development machines it it returns events but once put to a live server, the array of events always comes back empty.
Thanks
Have you tried using / as the action instead the full url in your search form?
Otherwise, I think there could be something up with the way you’re grabbing GET values. While testing the search form, I got this url
http://www.aoc-create.co.uk/events/upcoming-events/?tag=efa&Search=search&doing_wp_cron=1369941078.2293510437011718750000
That cron info didn’t ought to be there. Maybe extra values like that are causing problems.
I’ll try using / as the action although i do need to get the details back on specific pages.
The &doing_wp_cron=1369941078.2293510437011718750000 isn’t always there. We’re having to use the alternate WordPress cron as the host doesn’t allow the normal wp cron to run.
are you overriding our search form? If so, try using our default one and see what we send via post. I think you’re missing some hidden values there.
We are indeed overriding the search form, will try the default one and see what i get. Thanks for the feedback Marcus.
ok, just ask if you have any further questions.
