   I have on my blog a listing of various events which my readers may be interested in. I made it manually, it is just a Word table.

   I would like to have an event listing plugin which would let anyone (or prefererable only a selected few) add to such a calendar / event listing.

   I looked through the many event etc plugins and it wasn't clear which if any could do that. Can anyone here tell if is such exists?

   To be clear - there is no booking, RVSP, payment or anything like that needed. Just the date, time and what it is.

   WP Events Calendar will do what you want as will Calendar. Both are plugins and both have events calendars that users with the right permissions can add entries to.

   That's good, many thanks. I tried both of those and I now understand how the different levels of users give the functionality I need.
