    hi, how do i get the categorii to show all evens and not just up coming. ?

    i have a text widget in my sidebar and here i put [categories_list] …

    my events categories are showing …not a problem here.

    but soon i click on any of the categories only the future events are showing … nothing from past …

    where do i change the way events within a category are shown ?

    would like to show all events from that specific category …

    you can try placeholder #_CATEGORYALLEVENTS at Events > Settings > Formatting > Event Categories > Single category page format

    all i need is to have single category page show all events (past, curent, future)

    placeholder #_CATEGORYALLEVENTS should show all events? can I know what are you getting.

    this works for me…. could it be you have the wrong placeholder in the wrong format box?

    Events > Settings > Formatting > Event Categories > Single category page format right ?

    yes, should be in Events > Settings > Formatting > Event Categories > Single category page format

    also, could it be that you are using custom taxonomy template or modified any of EM templates?

    just to narrow down the problem have you tried to temporarily:

    – deactivating all other plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems
