    I want to add a simple free Events Calendar with Event Categories to my website. Most of the plugins don’t support short codes, so I won’t be able to get an upcoming events list and mini calendar, in order to merge the actual design of the theme with the event plugin. Why is this so difficult? Surely people buy themes and then adding on additional events functionality is required?
