Event unfiltered html is filtered?

    I was trying to post content with svg XML data wrapped in an svg tag with appropriate namespaces. I am the administrator of the site so I should be able to post unfiltered html, but it seems that non-html tags are still stripped out. Is there something I can do to completely disable filtering on this particular post?

    It seems I misinterpreted what was happening somewhat. The information is being stored in the database correctly, but when the data is displayed WordPress has added
    tags at the end of each line, breaking things utterly. I have tried two different plugins to get rid of the damn things, without success.

    It seems like there should be a way to say, Hey! WordPress! Give me *exactly* what I put in the HTML editor.

    Thanks in advance for any tips you can slide my way.
