Event Organizer: Update/Edit custom reoccurring event dates NOT WORKING

    After a whole year and Many updates, I’m still having an issue with the event organizer’s custom reoccurring date editing.

    Once I’ve created a custom recurring event, I can no longer edit the upcoming event dates or time etc. When I hit update it just reverts back to the old/original event time and dates.

    There normally is, (used to be) a check box that I could select that would allow me to edit the event dates. Now the clicking “show dates” allows me to select new dates but they do not stay saved/update. Could you let me know what might be happening, or how to fix this?

    I’ve tried disabling all other plugins updating EO plugin ran debug mode… Nothing give me results, hopefully you can.

    Hi Kyle,

    I’m aware that you’ve posted something about this a while ago. But as in that thread, I’m not able to replicate this issue, and as far as I’m aware, no one else has experienced it either.

    There should still be a checkbox when editing a recurring event, and that must be checked (and left checked) when you click ‘update’. Is that not appearing? You said “used to be”?

    You mentioned disabling plug-ins – I’d also recommend using TwentyThirteen (or Fourteen) theme to check that it isn’t the theme. Lastly (and this probably won’t be case as you seem to be able to edit the event details ok), I’d check for any javascript errors in your browser console.

    Thank you kindly, I see now that this was the issue:

    .updated {display:none}

    This was tucked away in the admin/assets/css/styles.css

    Problem Solved!
