I am having trouble getting another plugin to work when I have Event Manager activated. I think it may be down to a jQuery clash but have no idea how to go about fixing the problem. The problem I am having is the banner on my home page should automatically play through various banners plus have buttons to enable viewers to scroll through them manually. However, when I activate Events Manager the buttons disappear and it is stuck on the first banner.

    My url is: http://www.greenbankcollege.org.uk/
    Wordpress version: 3.5.1
    Event Manager version: 5.2.6

just to confirm, does your theme header.php does have wp_head() and footer.php have wp_footer() ?

Yes I’ve double checked and they are in place.

does your home page banner is part of the theme or another plugin? try to check if it’s loading other jquery version or jquery ui library.

    Thanks for your help agelonwl.

I thought I had installed the latest version of Events Manager when I hadn’t. Fortunately after updating, it all now works as it should do.

How can I delete the URL from my original post? Thankyou

It is not the general policy to edit or delete forum posts. When a post is made and people contribute answers to an issue, that then becomes part of the community resource for others to benefit from. Editing or deleting posts removes this added value. In extreme circumstances, the moderation team might be persuaded to remove sensitive information but. generally, your best course of action is not to publish anything that you wouldn’t want to be public.
