I have installed events plugin and everything appeared fine.
The events are added and appear ok, but when the actual event is clicked for more info, page is not found.
I mean, the url is there but “page not found”, why?
What could be the problem?
Any ideas?
NB: I am not tech person.
Url is http://www.web-seo-melbourne.com.au/events/
Thanks.

I had the same problem when I changed the default event page. Eventually I disabled the event manager plugin and later enabled it.
That solved the url structure problem.
Try it, it might also work for you.

Can you post the URL that throws Page Not Found! I browse your site and everything seems to be okay?

Problem may arise with the event manager when you convert the event page to be your main page.
you can try to have another page as the index, disable the plugin, enable it and see what happens.

You read my mind.
The problem is occurring when I make events the main page.
I did away with that disabled and enabled and the problem was solved.
But why is it so?
Won't bother with that now.
thanks @agelonwl and @jake259 for your replies.

First of all version 4.18 is out.
Please try to create a new page then use shortcode to display events on it and set it as your Front Page (choose static page) AND don't forget to visit the Permalinks Settings (click save again)

Maybe the permalinks of Events Manager is getting affected because you are setting it as homepage.
From http://www.domain.com/events/event/myevent
To http://www.domain.com/event/myevent
