Sugar Events Calendar Lite
[resolved] Event descriptions returning 404 Page Not Found (22 posts)

Hello, I've had a bug develop in my install of Sugar Events Calendar Lite; at first all worked perfectly. Now, however, when I click on an event to view the description I get a Page Not Found. This happens with existing and new events, and even from the View Page in the Admin Dashboard editing page.

    The site is at http://www.grassycreekvineyard.com/events/

There seemed to be an issue with the /events/ directory at first, so I had changed to page with the calendar on it to /eventscalendar/ at one time; I've since changed it back to no avail.

Any assistance would be a real life saver. Thanks in advance!

Hello, found out that another plugin was interfering with calendar. Once I disabled the plugin, the calendar worked as before. The interfering plugin was a shopping cart, FireStorm E-commerce.

  3. Thanks for letting me know of the conflict!

Hello, I have got same problem - your plugin is not working with Mingle Forum... well I'd like to use them both! :) Thanks in advance!

  5. @madginger Try going to Settings > Permalinks and clicking "Save Changes".

I've tried all options and only default setting (/?p=123) is working.

  7. Sounds like you have a conflict with one of your other plugins or your theme. Are you able to disable your other plugins one at a time to see if one of them is causing the problem?

As I wrote before - it's conflict with Mingle Forum but I'd like to use both plugins together...

    The first one - mingle-forum

  10. Thanks, I"m going to see if I can find the problem.

Have you considered using bbPress instead of Mingle? It's by far a much better plugin / forum system.

Well - I'm not advanced user and I found Mingle useable and easy. I don't need big solution... Thank you, Pippin!

Hello Fellow WP Users - not to be a crank, but this issue (my issue) was marked resolved. Please move your conversation to another discussion thread as I am not involved in the plugin mentioned causing the issue with Sugar Events Calendar Lite, and do not need to see your conversation in my inbox. Thank you.

  13. @Paul there is an unsubscribe link in the right sidebar. Use it. There is nothing wrong with @madginger posting on this thread. In fact, it is encouraged since it is a similar problem.

@madginger bbPress is extremely simple and not complex. Have you tried it?

    Hi there,

I am also recieving a 404 page not found error for posted events. I am using only a few plugins-

Contact Form Plugins (Deactivated, Still getting Error)

    Gravity Forms + Stripe

Typo Shortcuts (as you know, Required)

    and of course, Surgar Events.

I am using a theme from EngineThemes called SOURCE, that I purchased on ThemeForest

Any help would be appreciated!! I am a very busy gal and am trying to get this up and running!

    Thanks!

Please try switching to one of the default themes and then resaving your permalink structure. Does that fix it?

I switched to one of the default themes and am still getting a 404 error. Perhaps it has to do with the plugin I downloaded? the calendar shows fine... I paid $18 for this plugging... erm...?

    Thanks for your help!! :)
