Event category pages find no events.

    Hi Amber,

    I think choosing ‘category’ as the url base for event categories is conflicting with WordPress’ post categories (which also has category as base).

    You could try changing that to something like event-category, and see if that works.

    One of the topics you linked to (wp-event-organiser.com/forums/topic/theme-conflict-with-searches/) turned out to be a very technical bug specific to the theme in question (infocus theme). So I would doubt that would be the cause. (anecdotally the quality of themes found on elegent themes is better than where infocus was purchased from).

    My bets are on the rewrite clash I mentioned above 🙂

    Hi Stephen,

    Thank you for your quick reply, changing the url base worked. I don’t remember now if I set the url base to ‘category’ or whether that was the default setting.

    I hope to buy your plugin soon as our venue get more busy. Thanks again. 🙂
