Event Calendar 3 and K2 – sidebar module not working

    Hi!

    I have installed TripleK2 (a three column K2 theme) and am trying to combine it with Event Calendar 3.

    K2 has got integrated widgets, and therefore I cannot install the separate widgets plugin.

    However, when I activate the EC3-plugin, my sidebar module for K2 stops working. My EC3-options gets added to my module list, but the sidebar module stops working.

    Can anyone help me?

    I manually edited the sidebar, and that worked fine for me 🙂

    would you mind letting me know what exactly you did to get it working? i’m using the exact same setup and can’t get eventcaledar to work (or even show up in the k2 ‘available widgets).

    Sure! Put this in your sidebar.php. It shows 5 events.

    <h2>Next events:</h2>

    <div class=”sb-links”>

      <?php ec3_get_events(5); ?>

    </div>
