    Hi There,
I was just notified by a friend of mine that whenever he tried to view my website from his workstation with ESET internet security installed, the firewall blocks all connections to my server and throws an error saying there is a JS Trojan on my website. This seems to happen on every page.

Can someone please shed some light as to why this might be happening and how to fix it?

    Thanks,
    John

    URL of website is intrigue-entertainment.ca

Either a FP or there is something wrong on your website is my guess.

My ESET security blocks your website entirely:

    Threat:
    JS/Iframe.BV trojan

Thats the same threat error I get on my buddy's workstation. Not sure what is going on or what approach I should be taking to fix it!

My guess is you got a trojan on your site. You should look into it. My antivir went haywire twice - I wish I never tried that site cause there was a whooping pile of junk it tried to force upon my computer. Do you use shady third party advertiser, popupders or other such scripts form unscrupulous networks?

Just confirmed on my VM that windows 8's built in scanner even blocks the site. Im starting to think someone injected something into my db...

No I dont use any third party advertising or anything of the sort... just a low key website. I dont understand why anyone would want to put a trojan on it...

    Alright!

I think I have the issue rectified... But if someone with ESET could go and take a looksee for me I would greatly appreciate it. Hopefully it worked and I can take a backup offsite and call it a day.

karan81, please start a new topic and describe the specific issues you are having, mentioning the affected site.

If you are sure you have had your site hacked, start by working through the links posted above as that is the usual advice given.
