Escaping multiple shortcodes on save (6 posts)

    Hi,

    I love this plugin ;)
    But I'm experiencing an issue when using multiple shortcodes. On save, the brackets are escaped in editor. It's hard to explain...
    Let's take an example :

    [shortcode id="98"] => [shortcode id="98"]

    [shortcode id="98"][shortcode id="97"] => \[shortcode id="98"\]\[shortcode id="97"\]

    On the first save, the shortcodes are correctly processed in the article but I can see them escaped in the editor. On the second save, they are not processed anymore.

    I tried to enclose them into a <div> tag and the problem doesn't occur.

    Thank you :)

    Does this only occur when the shortcodes are placed directly next to each other? What if there's a space between them?

    No, it happens also with a space.

    I just noticed that the last shortcode seems not to be escaped when using the spaces.

    Thanks, I can confirm this bug, and I've opened this ticket: https://github.com/stephenharris/WP-MarkDown/issues/24

    Pretty sure I know where to look for this bug now too.

    Potential fix pushed to master branch: https://github.com/stephenharris/WP-MarkDown/issues/24. Does that work for you? Does it break anything else?

    Problem fixed, yes.
    I doesn't see anything broken yet but I'll keep you updated.

    Thank you for your reactivity ;)
