Starting today, every time I try to post something, I get this message:
Your attempt to edit this post: “insert name of post” has failed.
When I click the link to go back, parts of the post are missing, the title, the tags, some of the recent body copy. I edit and try again and it goes through. Every time I have to do this though. I can't just publish on the first try. Any ideas what's going on?
Have you tried:
- deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
- switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?
- resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
- re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress?
