[resolved] Errors in configuration screens (0.9 with wp 3.5.1) (5 posts)

    Hi Marekki,

    The latest version of your plugin is causing errors to show up in the plugin configuration screen for me, in the admin panel. I’m using WordPress 3.5.1 without too many other plugins. Could it be there’s a syntax error or two in your plugin?

    Here’s a screenshot of the config screen: http://www.geertvdheide.nl/watermark-error1.png
    The Watermark-DIR screen shows this: http://www.geertvdheide.nl/watermark-error2.png

    Any idea what’s going on? Have you had other reports on this issue? Your plugin looks like it's what I need, but I can't use it like this.

    These bugs were fixed by changing the opening php-tags (<?) to (<?php) in the following files:

    * wm_functions.php
    * wm_dir.php

    This took care of the error messages I posted above, but uploading a file now results in an error. Watermarks are not being applied, and the error message contains no information as to what's causing it. It might be a conflict with another plugin, not sure. I've contacted the author of this plugin and hope to resolve it soon.

    The upload bug seems to have solved itself. Not sure what was causing it, but all seems well now.

    The change in the opening php tags should be added here in the WordPress Plugin Repository soon, so others won't run into it.

    Thanks Malek for the support (provided by e-mail and on his personal site).

    hi geertvdheide,

    the fix is already checked-in in to the repository. The release is still 0.9 because the problems are significant only for XAMP users.

    Enjoy the plugin.
    Marek.
