    when i attempted to upgrade from 1.01 to the newest beta these are the errors i got...
    SQL/DB Error:
    [You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1]
    SELECT * FROM wp_options WHERE option_id =
    SQL/DB Error:

    any ideas?

    OK, so what did you do? What were the steps you took to upgrade?

    just a hunch. did you execute /wp-admin/upgrade.php?

    apparently some of the key files - i had not selected to ftp and so that was the upgrade's way of telling me to upload the damn files properly and it went off without a hitch.
