Errors after moving to a new server (4 posts)

    I recently changed hosts for a couple of sites and am just tackling my WordPress issues.

    The site was moved via a cpanel to cpanel swap, the database, usernames and everything stayed exactly the same. During the transfer however, the database didn't install, so I restored that manually.

    That still didn't work.. received an error trying to access the blog. I created a new user account in the database and put the new database user info into wp-config.php - that brought up the main page of the site - but the sidebar.php is still broken.

    sidebar.php error:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function: dbt_getlinktag() in /home/wahmmar/public_html/tips/wp-content/themes/refresh/
    sidebar.php on line 215

    wp-admin doesn't work either:

    Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/wahmmar/public_html/tips/wp-config.php:43) in /home/wahmmar/public_html/tips/wp-includes/
    pluggable-functions.php on line 220

    Anyone have any insight into how I can fix this? I've got 2 other blogs as well that are both in the same boat.

    Thanks in advance!

    dbt_getlinktag()
    Looks like a plugin is missing or switched off?

    Any idea how to turn off any plugins when I can't access wp-admin?

    Crystal - go via FTP and delete the files manually from the server

    Make a Back up first !
