ERROR: you must provide an e-mail address. HELP!!!

    Hello,

    I get this error after I enter the blogs name and email

    ERROR: you must provide an e-mail address.

    is not showing anything else besides that, just the error and the WP logo…

    PLEASE HELP!!

    WordPress doesn’t test for a ‘valid’ address but it does test to make sure the email you offer is in the correct format:

    Wrong:
    m @ sample.com

    Correct
    m@sample.com

    It is the right format… I have try several different emails and still get the same error… can it be something else???

    This is the first time that I have problems with WP.

    So use this:
    m@sample.com

    then if that works just change the admin and General->Settings email addresses.

    If that doesn’t work I can only suggest that you delete and reupload the WordPress files.

    If you do return here, please report the versions of your web-server and PHP and MySQL. Also the name of your host.
