Error with NextGen gallery non-flash slideshow on MobilePress pages

note that the nextgen gallery will show a flash-based slideshow unless the device doesn’t support flash. un that case it shows a jquery slideshow. So if i visit the full site on my iPhone i see the slideshow just fine. but if i use the MobilePress version I get a spinning wheel showing it loading but it never appears.

and in my desktop browser i get the flash message.

so something about these two plugins is not working quite right. thanks for any troubleshooting ideas!
