Great idea…
I get this error when saving the menu in Appearances/Menus:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in xxx/wp-content/plugins/custom-menu-images/custom-menu-images.php on line 150
I changed the class in CSS Classes (optional), but it won't save the required one.
Any ideas?

why ? this is exactly the same issue :)
No it isn't. You're using a different version of WordPress. You should also be posting via the plugin's dedicated forum.

oups indeed ;)
well wil wait for answers in http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-custom-menu-images-it-saved-my-life-i-voted-it-works-first/
wich is, in fact the same :)
But anyway there is a much more simpler solution for that, native in WP !
Just use the img src in the menu label... works fine !
