   Hello guys,

   I am having a bit of a problem.

   Every time I try to upload a new media file I am getting this error:

   “myFile.mp3” has failed to upload due to an error
   The uploaded file could not be moved to /var/www/vhosts/mySite.org/httpdocs/wp-content/uploads.

   My settings in Media are set to upload files to that directory

   I recently made a change to the site and had it set up for multi-site. i then reverted back to a normal install and now i'm getting these errors.

   Are there any files that I need to overwrite with the backup version of our site.

   I also get this error then I try the browser uploader:

   Error saving media attachment.

   What are the permissions on the uploads folder? You may need to set them to 777

   YES!... thanks. It always seems to be the easiest problem and you just seem to overlook it.
