[resolved] Error when activating my plugin (2 posts)

I'm currently writing a plugin, but when I go to activate it, I get the following message:

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

I've turned on $wpdb->show_warnings(), I've set define('WP_DEBUG', true), and I've set error_reporting = E_ALL & E_STRICT in my php.ini file. Even with all that, I'm not seeing any errors under the "Plugin could not be activated..." message, or in the Apache error log. Are there any other settings I can try to find out what the problem is? Or, has anyone encountered this error before with no accompanying PHP error?

Resolved, turned out to be $wpdb->show_warnings() causing the problem. I removed that line, and it worked.
