Error validating access token (4 posts)

My posts are not being linked to Facebook and at the top of my admin console Add link to facebook is giving the following error.

Error validating access token: Session does not match current stored session. This may be because the user changed the password since the time the session was created or Facebook has changed the session for security reasons.

Add link to facebook used to work fine - my App ID and Secret are correct.
I use W3Total Cache on the site - is it related to that?

    Cheers

    Did you change the password?

In any case re-authorizing the plugin using the authorize button on the settings page (WordPress menu > Tools > Add Link to Facebook) will probably help.

After that update the posts that have this message. The plugin will try to add the link again and if it succeeds the message will go away.

Re-Authorizing did the trick. You might consider updating the error message to point that out.

    Cheers

I am glad your problem is solved!

Most error messages point to the FAQ, where you can mostly find a detailed explanation of the error message and the steps to take. This problem is described in question E15 if you like to check ;-)
