    Hi,

I'm trying to upload an image, but I get this error:

Warning: copy(/home/stillewa/public_html/wp/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/20120513_120420.jpg) [function.copy]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/stillewa/public_html/wp/wp-admin/includes/file.php on line 348

    What's up???

Try changing the permissions on the wp-content directory to 766. If you still have problems, try 767, 775 or 777. Once your uploads are working, change the permissions on wp-content back to 755 again and check that everything still works OK.

@yudi eko: It is impolite and contrary to forum policy to interrupt another poster's ongoing thread with a question of your own. Please post your own topic.

@esmi thanks for your reply... I think. Can you explain how to change the file permissions? I'm not getting it via the link you included.

I have Filezilla. Do I change the permissions on the whole wp-content directory by right-clicking?

Still doesn't work. I have tried it on all the wp-folders, but no luck. I still get the same error.

    Any other ideas? Anyone?

Well... all of a sudden it worked. I changed the permissions on the wp-content folder and it's fixed. Let's hope it stays away...
