I'm trying to install wordpress, I created the database on my local server using wamp, put in the info on the config.php file and when I load http://localhost/ in my browser, I get this error message:

Warning: require(C:\wamp\www/wp-includes/pomo/mo.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:\wamp\www\wp-settings.php on line 82

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'C:\wamp\www/wp-includes/pomo/mo.php' (include_path='.;C:\php5\pear') in C:\wamp\www\wp-settings.php on line 82

    Can someone please help me???

    Thanks,
    Michael

Have you checked C:\wamp\www/wp-includes/pomo/mo.php? Does it exist?

    Thanks for the reply Sergey!

It doesn't exist. Can you tell me what code is in that file so I can create it?

    Thanks Michael

Where are you downloading WordPress from? I just downloaded from the official WordPress.org page http://wordpress.org/download/ and after looking through the files mo.php is in the right directory.

It may be that when you are copying over the files it is somehow skipping mo.php but it should be there if you are downloading from the official WordPress page.
