Error trying to access Events Manager through Buddypress

I am getting the following error code when trying to access any of the events pages in Buddypress:

Warning: require_once(/home/verba3/public_html/transylvaniawellnessalliance.com/wp-content/plugins/events-manager/buddypress/templates/members/single/plugins.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/verba3/public_html/transylvaniawellnessalliance.com/wp-includes/theme.php on line 1114

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/verba3/public_html/transylvaniawellnessalliance.com/wp-content/plugins/events-manager/buddypress/templates/members/single/plugins.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/verba3/public_html/transylvaniawellnessalliance.com/wp-includes/theme.php on line 1114

I have Buddypress version 1.5.
My site is http://transylvaniawellnessalliance.com.
Any help would be appreciated.

Could be a conflict, please try to deactivate other plugin and change to default theme (temporarily). try to deactivate the plugin one by one

I deactivated all the plugins except Buddypress and this one. I already use the default theme. It is giving me the same error message.

I found the file it seems to be trying to find

/public_html/transylvaniawellnessalliance.com/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-themes/bp-default/members/single

Any way of steering the plugin in the correct direction?

I tried to browse this pages and doesn’t throw any error.

Did you try to deactivate and activate again the buddypress plugin since its the one who throws error

you need to copy that last file over to your theme. that and one more too

from the path /wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-themes/bp-default/

copy these with the same path into your theme
members/single/plugins.php
groups/single/plugins.php

Thank you both for your help. Marcus, that was perfect. It is working great now.

Agelonwl, those pages never had a problem, it’s the ones in Buddypress that were not working. They are now, though!

I’d got around the problem by copying wp-content\plugins\buddypress\bp-themes\bp-default to wp-content\plugins\events-manager\buddypress and renaming it templates but 2 files is better than dozens!

I see that you’re the creator of Events Press — it’s awesome btw 🙂

Could you perhaps add the above hint regarding those 2 files to this page: http://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/using-template-files/

That might save a few other people like myself who are keen on creating child themes (and save you some development time maybe).

Sorry, I meant Events Manager, not Events Press. Got you confused with a plugin I tried that wasn’t as awesome.

actually, i want to fix the child theme problem altogether, but thanks for the info there, didn’t know you could do that (but probably the result of a bug)
