Error: The data for the import is invalid

    Hi,

    im trying to import a CSV file and replace a current table which I have but im getting this error: ‘Error: The data for the import is invalid.’

    Ive seen other posts on this error but saw the solution was to increase memory, the tables im trying to import are only 1kb aprrox 4×4 rows/columns and I update these tables every week with no issues.

    I updated to the new version of WordPress last week and this is the first time ive tried updating a table since the WordPress update, looks like an issue related to this??

    Help would be much appreiated!

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    Is this with TablePress 1.2? I’m asking because there is a small bug in the previous versions with WordPress 3.7 that could be causing this.
    So, if you are not using TablePress 1.2 yet, please update and try again.

    Otherwise, can you please send me the CSV file via email? The address is in the main plugin file “tablepress.php”.

    Hi Tobias, updating the plugin worked.

    I should have really noticed the required update myself but thanks for the help 🙂
