Please note this is my first attempt at building a website, and would class myself as a novice at best…
I have just installed WP into a subdirectory (/wordpress), using simplescripts through my Bluehost cPanel, which worked fine. However, once i amended the Site Address (URL) in the WP General Panel, as per the instructions Giving WordPress Its Own Directory Codex, my site – michaelparmakellis.com – will not load, either from the WP dashboard or by directly typing the address into IE.
Please help; what have i missed???
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

  • It looks like this issue has been resolved as WordPress is now loading on your main domain. Are you still having issues?

Thanks Tim; i still get “Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage”. What exactly do you see on my main domain, is it a live WP site?
    Thanks again

When I go to michaelparmakellis.com I see a default WordPress installation with the twentyeleven theme.

Check that your internet connection is good, and, if you still cannot see your site, try clearing your cache and doing a DNS flush on your computer.
