[resolved] Error: No pages found (5 posts)

I've just reinstalled WordPress 2.7 to fix this, but it hasn't worked, so here goes:

I'm getting an error of "No pages found." when I go to edit pages, even though I can see I have 5 pages. You can see this from this screenshot.

I have no idea what it could be. I've checked in phpMyAdmin to see that the post type is correct, and it is. I did recently import these pages (from another 2.7 install), but the posts I imported seem to be fine.

The plugins I have installed are:

    • Akismet 2.2.3
    • Art Direction 0.2.1
    • Decategorizer 0.5.2.1
    • Easy Contact 0.1.2 β
    • Maintenance 0.3
    • Redirection 2.1.5
    • WP-Syntax 0.9.2
    • WP Greet Box 4.4.2

    Any ideas are much appreciated!

Not strictly resolved. I deleted my pages (copying out their content), exported my posts and reinstalled WordPress on a new database, reimporting my posts.

No problems yet. It was probably just a bug.

Most likely your database crashed or it has some errors. Check with your hosting provider.

The same thing happened to me. My edit posts page shows up fine.

My pages show up fine from the website, but the Edit Pages section doesn't give me any links to pages to edit. It shows the total amount of pages but no links to pages.

I'd like to find the root of this problem because starting with a new database is not a good solution. I have it very customized and this would be hours of work to fix.

    thanks

I'm an idiot. I had a function that was screwing up the query. It's odd that everything functioned correctly on the actual site, but it messed up the edit pages screen. (Even though it could still show the total number of posts)

    Fixed.
