Since I upgraded I am told that I do not have authorization to access my comments or a few other items from my dashboard. Also, in the same time frame, I have been getting a sudden flush of spam comments and need to get to them to delete them and see the real comments. Please tell me what I have to do.

Have you tried:
- deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
- switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
- resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
