Error messages won't go away

    I get the following error messages:

    FTP credentials don’t allow to write to file /home/cyclingutah1/cyclingutah.com/.htaccess
    W3 Total Cache Error: Files and directories could not be automatically created to complete the installation.
    Please execute commands manually
    or use FTP form to allow W3 Total Cache make it automatically

    But, I have made the adjustments to the .htaccess file.

    Is there something else I need to do? Or, is this a bug that the error messages won’t go away?
