Error message when uploading media – no thumbnails created.

    Hi there – recently for some reason I am receiving errors when I upload jpegs. The files are uploaded into the media directory just fine and I can still post the photo. However it is still pretty annoying and I think this is now stopping me from posting pics using the Android app.

    The error on uploading one photo is:

    I noticed a few people have had this error in the past however nobody really came up with a solution.
    Any ideas?

    Try sticking to .jpg files and avoid .jpeg files.

    I have a very similar issue with the message below that keeps coming up. WP uploads the image into the media folder with an error msg (see below) but manages to place it OK into the folder. However I cannot get the images into the “Featured Image” section – only “into the post”. Which naturally looks like shit. See below for error msg.
