Error message when try to add album

Great plugin which i have been using for a few months now; however I am now getting the following error whenever I try to add a new album.
Shashin Error:
Failed to retrieve album feed at https://picasaweb.google.com/data/feed/api/user/109385154936355973305/albumid/5907427952218091729?alt=json&kind=photo
WP_Http Error: Couldn’t resolve host ‘picasaweb.google.com’I have not updated to the latest WordPress yet, and have not installed any new plugins, although I may have updated some between when it was last working a few days ago and when it stopped working.
One interesting thing is that the address I enter in Shashin is https://plus.google.com/photos/109385154936355973305/albums/5907427952218091729
and not the address that appears in the error, although it clearly refers to the same album.Any ideas anyone?
