    Hi,

Absolutely love the Font plugin. I have been using it for a while, and it auto updated through the dashboard to new version 7.3.0.

I have this pop up message now and it enters safe mode and does not want to work. I am worried that If i downgrade to 7.2.0 I will lose all of my presets saved for the site and it would take me a very long time to put these back to normal.

Error message before going into safe mode:

Object function (){var e,t,i,n;if(null===this)throw new TypeError;for(i=Object(this),e=i.length;e–;)t=0|Math.random()*e,n=i[e],i[e]=i[t],i[t]=n;return i} has no method ‘find’

Any help appreciated, and if its possible to downgrade without losing presets then I will deactivate, uninstall 7.3.0 and then install 7.2.0 as before.

    Thanks

    Paul

  • I too have been experiencing problems with this plugin (and ultimately my site) since updating. My error message says the plugin couldn’t start and I went into the plugin settings and reset it and it’s still not functioning. Is there any way to go back to the old version?

Hi princessrandom – I know what you mean!

I am too scared at downgrading to the older version I had before because I dont want all my presets to be deleted as it will change all my fonts back to default after so much time tweaking them!

Hope there is a solution as I love the plugin.

    Watch this space eh!

    Hi guys,
sorry to see that you’re having problems with the latest version. I’ve just uploaded a fix which might fix the problem. Why might? Because when updating plugins the problem could be caused by conflict with another just-updated plugin.

If 7.3.1 doesn’t solve the problem try disabling all other plugins to see if it works and investigate which one could be causing the problem. Let me know how it goes.

    Hi Killerdeveloper,

Thanks for the quick reply. Sorry, I always try to solve the problem first before asking for the help, and should have tried to debug the other plugins first! Good idea, I will have a try and get back to you, but big thanks for developing such a useful tool – absolutely love it. Thanks for the help,

    Paul

Nice to see that the problem is gone. How did you solve it? Was update enough or was it a conflicted plugin? If yes what was the name of that plugin?

I’m trying to make the plugin work even with really bad plugins which are sometimes overwriting jQuery.

I am having the same problem. I can deactivate the plug-in but not delete it and it’s now stopping me uploading any new plug-ins. Have you sorted this out yet please?
