   hello everybody

   i am a very bad code-builder and tried that theme (iNove) today. after installing and activating it it says at the end of the page of my website (www.bipo.ch):

   Fatal error: Call to undefined function the_tags() in /home/bipoch/public_html/wordpress/wp-content/themes/inove.1.4.5/inove/index.php on line 35

   what does that mean and how can i resolve it?

   also there is only the latest article viewable and the widgets do not seem to work ... am i that stupid?

   and also, how can i find out the version of wordpress i have installed?
   i hope to get help soon, thank you in advance

   Go to Appearance - Editor, open the file index.php and place a "/*" in front of the call to "the_tags();" and a "*/" after it; you've just commented it out. Once you've done that the error message should disappear.

   and also, how can i find out the version of wordpress i have installed?

   Log into the admin area and have a look at the bottom right of your window: the version information should be displayed there. If you can't find it there open the file wp-includes/version.php and read the number after $wp_version.

   You'll see your WordPress theme number in the bottom right of the footer of the Admin area. It might be worth checking what version of WP you have before troubleshooting your theme problem any further.

   thank you for your help. at the moment i am updating to version 2.8 of wordpress ... i guess i had a very old version online ... if this will fix my problem, great, if not, i try that thing with remarking ... will let you know :)
