• I receive the following error message(s) when I now try to edit this post:

    http://www.wolfbritain.com/?p=184

    Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/content/W/o/l/WolfBritainCOM/html/wp-includes/wp-diff.php on line 290

    Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/content/W/o/l/WolfBritainCOM/html/wp-includes/wp-diff.php on line 300

    The URL that causes the error message to occur is:

    http://www.wolfbritain.com/wp-admin/post.php?action=edit&post=184

    I can now no longer get in to edit this post, though I can edit all other posts. It appeared to happen when automatic draft saving of the post occurred after I had hit “Save” and my edits to the post were being saved, so it is evidently caused by these two events occurring at the same time; thus, it appears you need to adjust auto-saving so it cannot initiate while a save is in progress, etc.

    Can/Would you please tell me how I can correct his error in my WordPress files so I can get back in to edit this particular post? Please let me know, and thank you for all of your assistance.

    CLARIFICATION(S):

    I should have explained that the two error messages above did NOT occur at the same time. One happens some of the time, and the other happens some of the time, when trying to go to the edit page for that post, but not simultaneously.

    Also, I’m now getting the same error message, but for DIFFERENT lines when attempting to open the edit page for that particular post, as follows (also occurring at separate times):

    Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/content/W/o/l/WolfBritainCOM/html/wp-includes/wp-diff.php on line 168

    Or:

    Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/content/W/o/l/WolfBritainCOM/html/wp-includes/wp-diff.php on line 287

    It originally happened in the IE browser; and, not knowing if the browser perhaps had anything to do with it not, I tried accessing the edit page for that post via Firefox instead, but still got the same error message(s).

    The edit page for that post does not completely load; in fact, some of the time, the error message doesn’t even come up, but from the point at the top (not the very top, but after the headings of the page) where the error message usually appears, right after the headings (i.e., RIGHT AFTER the “Manage” links on the page), the rest of the page does not finish loading AT ALL.

    I am not a WordPress techie, so if I’m failing to provide you additional information that you need, it is because I don’t know what else you might need to know; so, if you need additional information, please let me know what else you need to know. Thank you again.

    Sincerely, with regards,

    Wolf
