That means the the backup script is terminatet from the server.
In the beta Version we can make timewise restarts, that will help in this cases. the Beta is available for testing under https://github.com/inpsyde/backwpup.

Ok. The Problem is that, hoster has a programm that look that PHP Scripts not working too long or use to many resources. The Programm terminates the PHP Backup script if it uses to many of that. On some hoster you can se it with the “ERROR: Signal 15 is sent to script!” message.
In the Beta version of BackWPup will prevent the abortion of the script by restarting it timewise.
I don’t know how to install the beta version. Or should I better contact my hoster to fix the issue?
I think we release the beta in the end of next week. After the WPCamp in Germany. If you don’t know how to install it is better to wait for this.
I think the hoster would not fix it because it is not a bug.
