   I received this:
   

   Error 500 - Internal server error
   
   An internal server error has occured!
   Please try again later.

   My site can be viewed and registered fine, but the log in returned the error above. I tried to remove the .htaccess, but still no luck. I may try to remove plugins, but really have no clue as i have been using a wealth of them.

   Hope someone can help.

   I am getting the same problem when I tried to edit the posts. But I don't get nay problem while editing pages or doing anything.
   Please help! I am using 1and1 shared hosting package.

   I have the some problems after 2.8 upgrade, Dashboard not working but wp-admin/edit.php and other pages working.
