    Greetings,

    I’m trying to install WordPress 2.9.1 on elit3quakelive.co.cc (at the moment, there’s a redirect to /forums because that’s all I have set up right now). My host is 000webhost (the free account). I uploaded all the files successfully and modified my wp-config.php file. When I go to my install page (elit3quakelive.co.cc/wp-admin/install.php), I get the following message:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/[REDACTED]/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 1329

    I’ve searched around but to no avail. Do you have any ideas on how to remedy this?

    Thanks in advance,
    Joseph

    Is there any way to tell which ones didn’t?

    The line with the error reads } elseif ( !empty( $protocol ) || strpos( $uri, '=' ) === false ) { if it makes any difference.

    Thanks for your assistance.

    Update: When I was uploading, some files had conflicts and I chose the new files. I reuploaded the files with conflicts and chose the older, larger files and all was well. Thanks, samboll!
